Plant Walk
Identifying Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants
A guided plant walk is an opportunity to engage with and learn more about the plants that grow around us. On this walk we will be learning to identify edible and medicinal plants, key identifying features and we will explore some basic preparations. For private walks and classes, please contact me.
I also offer foraging workshops through Forager’s Farms in Northumberland County, ON. More information on these classes and registration can be found here.
Workshop Details
This workshop will be held outside on grass, gravel and dirt trails so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear dependent on the weather. This is a (light) rain or shine event however in the case of extreme weather we will reschedule the event.
We recommend you bring a notebook and pen/pencil for note taking.
Private walks are available either on your property or at a public location. Please contact me directly for more details.
